This All-Around variant of the George Harvey leader provides enhanced power in the butt section, allowing it to cast heavier flies like streamers and indicators more effectively. It comes in lengths of 8 feet, 9 feet, and 10 feet, and is available in tippet sizes of 4X or 5X. Segments are connected via blood knots, with a perfection loop at the butt end for easy attachment to your fly line. The butt section is crafted from 20lb (0.017in) Maxima Chameleon. Although Chameleon is red, it’s formulated to change color and become invisible by absorbing light rather than reflecting it beneath the water’s surface. It is harder and stiffer, ensuring a smoother transition from your fly line to your leader. The tippet sections are made from Maxima Ultragreen, which blends naturally into the surrounding water, making it virtually invisible to fish.
